Color photographs were pioneered in 1861 by Thomas Sutton. George Eastman placed his camera, Kodak, on the market in 1888, with the slogan, “You press the button, we do the rest.”
Alfred Steiglitz has taken many breathtaking views of New York City during the turn of the century.
