Darren White was born in Oregon Coast where he was also raised and where his love for beautiful landscapes began. He moved to Portland Oregon in 1999 and soon fell in love with the Columbia River Gorge areas and the mountains. In 2013, the artist moved to Littleton, Colorado where he soon fell in love with what the grandiose Colorado mountains have to offer. He also fell in love with the outdoor life which Colorado is known for. He was the winner of the 2013 White has been published in various magazines like Outdoor Photographer, Columbia Gorge Magazine and Popular Photography, as well as having a mention in National Geographic Traveler. In 2014 the artist began showing his work in the Denver Art's district at Gallery art Studio as well as in Central City, Colorado at the Gilpin Arts Gallery. His prints have been sold worldwide and used for all kinds of media from Trade Show Backdrops to Websites.
White enjoys a variety of outdoors activities which include night photography, climbing steep hills, trail running, hiking, running, biking, and simply just being amazed at what nature can produce. He has worked with several companies including Widgery Works Inc., Popular Photography Magazine, Mesher Shing McNutt, Impact Photographics, Cortesi Home, Northwest Blades, Strategic Printing, Portland Monthly Magazine, Columbia Gorge Magazine, etc. White is much sought after by many discerning collectors because of the high quality work that has made his art to be in great demand. He’s an artist who will put much effort in what he does to ensure that he gets the best.
