Alfred Sheldon Williams (Born 1840/41) was born and raised in the United Kingdom. He died in 1880. Williams is known for painting and was predominantly active in Hampshire. Williams was the father of Sheldon Inglis Williams, an official Canadian war artist during the World War I. Because of his diverse experiences in the business world, he recognized the importance of relationships and associating with fellow professionals and he looked forward to developing relationships even with his clients. His keenness to detail earned him reputation among his fellow artists, and even among photography students and teachers. He was a much sought after and his images spread throughout the world. Today, they can be seen in homes of celebs and prominent people. His art are also in museums, institutions, galleries, and in private and public collections.
