Jerianne Van Dijk is an artist whose works cover a wide array of subjects. Her works can be classified as both realist and impressionist. Jerrianne uses different media for her works, including watercolor, crayons, and gouache. She gives every process of her work the much needed attention to ensure that she gets the right results in terms of mood and color. Her three main areas of work are watercolor paintings, murals, and illustrations, which she basically does for different publications. Of all the media she uses, her biggest strength lies in watercolors, which is also the one she often uses in creating her paintings. Due to her dedication, experience, and quality of work, she has worked with reputable designers and businesses such as Gibson Greetings, Target, Lynn Hollyn Assoc., and other print companies. Many of her original art pieces have been sold directly to residents of North Carolina and art lovers from other regions. Many of her works have also been sold as posters, fabric, cards and tiles.

Jerrianne’s works are currently being exhibited at ArtWorks Gallery based in Grass Valley in Nevada, California. She has been an inspiration to many aspiring artists and is also involved in sharing her knowledge and experience by offering classes to students and art practitioners. Some of Jerrianne’s artworks show traditional bathrooms, landscapes, architectural designs, and figurative images that contain whimsical and serious elements. Her works also contain fruits in bowls, wine labels, CD prints, and more. A lot of her works have been inspired by her surroundings, which is an elevated place at the Sierra Foothills.

Although she has interacted with several artists within her small town, she can basically be considered self taught. Her love for painting has also sent her to various workshops conducted by industry big names, giving her the inspiration, confidence and skills to soldier on. She likes working with other people and was recently honored when she was invited to El Minia University, Egypt, to attend the 25th year of arts celebrations.
