Suzanne Etienne is an American artist and a resident of Ashland, Northern California. Her artworks are characterized with vibrant colors and heavy brush strokes, a style that vividly shows the subjects of her paintings. Suzanne uses her painting talent to express the beauty of the Rogue Valley gardens, vistas, gardens, and a number of other beautiful works of nature. Whether she creates an artwork of her rooster series, a vase of flowers, or landscapes, she definitely displays that powerful impressionist touch. She has traveled the world and seen many picturesque places such as award winning homes, beautiful homes, landscapes and beaches. To share such exquisiteness with her audience, she captures these amazing places in her artworks. Suzanne’s talent has been evident for years. At the tended of seven, she won a poster contest that attracted competitors from all over California. She won it with her golden California poppy painting. Since then, she hasn't bulged a bit, but has instead relentlessly continued with her painting work.

Besides her talent, she also went ahead to study fine art at San Jose State University. After finishing her studies, she commercially did paintings and illustrations for different entities. Understanding the importance of art within the society and in response to the fact that there weren’t formal institutions to offer arts training within her locality, she started a formal training program. She started the school, believing that "Art provides an essential ingredient in developing humane humans." In 1986, Suzanne founded Suzanne Etienne Design, her own interior design firm, in order to allow her spare some time for her family. Through her continuous practice as a decorator, she mastered the art of colors and the skill of incorporating colors from different elements such as fabrics and wallpapers into her art. She has done a lot of paintings on canvas and has been able to use even up to 64-pack of crayons due to her deep understanding of color. She lives in a bungalow with her husband Bob Etienne. The bungalow has an adjacent studio where she does her works.
