Daniel Pollera’s artwork is a magically enticing landscape of secluded beaches and peaceful seaside bungalows. Pollera, who was raised in Long Island and is a resident of one of the New York island’s coastal towns, is inspired by the solitude of his surroundings. Often eliciting feelings of longing for a simpler life, his acrylics have the realistic quality of a photograph. Pollera, who is self-taught, has worked with Everett Molina, the head of the National Mural Society. His work has been seen in numerous publications, a department store, and on a book cover.
