Leslie Fuqua lives in Cheney, WA, a small college town, very near Spokane, Washington and home of Eastern Washington University. She holds a degree in Graphic Communications from this college. Leslie loves to work with all kinds of artistic communications and has worked in PR and marketing for more than fifteen years to include marketing collateral, large display ads, business communications, website development, and at present, she works as custom designer art prints, for the office, home and more. Leslie is the owner of the 7-Wonders Design Studio. While she was working a full-time job during the day, she opened the studio in May of 2012. It was both out of both necessity and realization that she could also design. At first, she opened a toffee shop for her husband and her mother-in-law.
Her husband had a vision of making her delicious toffee into a business for years and they were looking for an additional source of income. They tried the toffee business on Etsy and realized it wasn't going to produce the income they desired, Leslie had been surfing Etsy for a while and saw all the wonderful art prints others were selling, and thought she could also do it. As a graduate in Graphic Communications, she had been keeping up with her communication and design skills through other avenues such as marketing, website design, PR, etc, and this gave her the courage to start off. So, she started designing prints and loved it, and came up with name 7-Wonders Design, "7" being her lucky number.
