Georges Generali was born and brought up just outside Nice. He was born to an Italian father and a French mother. Generali always had a passion to be an artist and all of his free time was spent experimenting with painting, drawing and making models. He is inspired by the artistic heritage of the region where he grew up and by the colors which surround his home. Generali paints in his studio. His subject matter is varied and wide but there is always some abstraction in every subject he undertakes. He infuses abstraction into each of his works of art. Generali’s originals are in private collections in many different countries of the world. His fascination with the high-rise towers of the Los Angeles, Chicago and New York skylines began after his first visit to the United States. His amply sized pieces blend vibrant colors with cool neutral tones, creating an alluring cityscape.
