Engravers who worked on his drawings included John Cleghorn, Thomas Clark, R. Harris, T. Cox, J. Howe, W. Hood, O. Smith, W. Lacey, J. Stokes, Shenfield, W. Tombleson, D. Thompson, R. Wilson, W. Watts, H. Winkles and others. Through this venture Tombleson provided high quality art to his clients.

Many who have purchased his art so far appreciate the fact that his art is not only perfect for decoration but they are also great for inspiration and for academic purposes. In fact many upcoming artists, architects and engravers are looking upon him for their inspiration. He produced quite a number of pieces in a variety of finishing options and his art is currently found in many collections, galleries, homes and institutions around the world. Being a professional artist never stopped him from seeking for more knowledge. He was open to learning and was a regular visitor to many galleries in the country. He also liked to surround himself with his fellow artists from whom he learns a lot. This helped to keep his art fresh and increased their collectability.
