In January 2001, I took my first Wild Apple trip to
Paris. I met artist Cheri Blum at the airport. Too early to check into our rooms, we set out on foot with the tip of the
Eiffel Tower peaking above the rooftops. Walking there was enough; the lines were long and we didn't need to go up. In fact, all these years later, I still haven't gone up the Eiffel Tower.
I've gone to Paris many times with Wild Apple's co-owner Laurie Chester, and most recently with fellow art director Gretchen Gray-Buchannan. My love of the city keeps growing. I can't stop interpreting Paris into artwork I create.
