Judy Richardson is a native of Northern Utah, and it was there she first realized the excitement of capturing an emotion of a time period and transferring it to canvas. She enjoys various subject matter, but has a fondness for the rural and nostalgic scenes. Her medium is in oil and the style is realism. She has painted professionally since 1973, and has taught hundreds of students privately. She owned and operated a gallery and frame shop in Oregon and is presently owner of Richardson Art and Frame in Draper, Utah. Her painting and stone sculpture has been shown in many galleries across the nation.
