Pat Fischer (Died 2010) was a fine art artist who was based in New England. She started painting at a very tender age. Like many other artists, Pat was self-taught and was inspired by the things around her. Although her mother couldn’t afford the money needed for her formal education, she always provided her with the materials and moral support she needed to enhance her painting skills. Her mother made her appreciate her artistic prowess by telling her it’s given by God so that she can use it to express herself. Pat’s creative works of art show how much she cherished her country, having made paintings of gentle settings full of beauty and tranquility. She took her painting more seriously in 1990 with her paintings mainly capturing Americana. Pat admitted to having been inspired by Rufus Porter into painting churches, willow trees and saltbox buildings. The inspiration came about at a time she was living in New Hampshire and was studying Porter’s works.

Pat came to master her style and produced quality art pieces, many of which have been licensed for use in making kitchen accessories, garden flags, and stencils, among other products. She passed on in February 2010 after prolonged battle with Pulmonary Hypertension for three years. But to show her love for art, Pat continued to create paintings up to December 2009. She worked hard throughout her career and was hoping that she would find a cure for her terminal illness. Her works remain exhibited in different galleries and collections across the globe.
