Robert Burridge is a national juror, a painter in all media, a national workshop and college instructor and is the Honorary President of the International Society of Acrylic Painters. His honors include the Franklin Mint Awards, and the coveted Crest Medal for Achievement in the Arts, and he was recently invited to have a solo exhibit at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art of his abstract paintings. His country studio is located on central coast California, in San Luis Obispo County. He’s a signature member of both the ISAP and the Philadelphia Watercolor Society. In 1985, he turned his passion into a full time career. Burridge retired from his work and became a painter on full time basis, and moved to California’s Central Coast where he has prepared to paint the rest of his life. Today, apart from painting, he teaches a fine art mentor program in central France.

His original paintings can be seen in 6 international galleries, on Pearl Vodka bottles, Starbucks Coffee mugs, and 8 tapestries and on fine art edition prints in cruise ships and upscale retail stores. Burridge graduated from Philadelphia College of Art (today the University of the Arts) with a Bachelor of Science degree. He majored in Industrial Design and took Fine Art Painting as a minor. As a designer, he got the opportunity to invent and create new products for Litton Industries, Becton-Dickinson and as the Principal Designer for Westinghouse Electronic Corporation. He produced product designs for fifteen Divisions, and received the Grand Industrial Design Award of the Year (1976).
