Linda Joy Solomon is an award winning photojournalist who’s internationally recognized. She’s a member of the prestigious and exclusive Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame. She’s also an author. Her book titled "People We Know, Horses They Love" features photo essays on Richard Gere, Morgan Freeman, Robert Redford, and numerous others. The book is a New York Times best seller. Linda has divided her career between teaching others to express themselves through photography and capturing the most famous personalities of our time. From his earliest memories, Linda always knew she would be a photographer. Despite her experience in photography, she still visits many art museums and galleries to learn new techniques from other photographers. Known for her style of using only natural light, Linda’s work has been featured in books such "The Bridges of Madison County” by Robert James Waller's and has been commissioned by many celebrities.

She tries to keep her portfolio as varied as possible as that tends to mean she gets asked to do a variety of jobs and types of work which is how she likes it. She has received international acclaim for her efforts to introduce photography to others. Linda has founded educational programs, including the "Pictures of Hope" program which is nationally recognized. The combined efforts of "Pictures of Hope" and another program dabbed "It's A SNAP", over one million cameras have been donated to children. Linda has exhibited her work at various venues in her area. She now accepts commissions for both executive and private portraiture as well as interior design photography.
