Peggy Abrams is an American artist who was born and bred in a small family community in Michigan. She created many art pieces that made her famous among reputable arts collectors and buyers. Her artworks cover a wide array of subjects, including teddy bears, botanicals, Old World Santas among others. Peggy started sketching things at an early age; her mom said Peggy started as soon as she could hold a pencil in her hand until she became a teenage girl. While in teen years, she started oil painting. Unlike several other artists who don’t get the full support of their parents, Peggy received a lot of support from her mother who bought her all the necessary materials for her sketching work and painting work. Peggy got her inspiration from the things around her or those she saw in books such as old fashioned dolls, stylish Victorian era, large hats and more. She started painting professionally when she was around 51 or 52 years of age.

Peggy’s Victorian Santas, banquettes and gardening images are some of her art pieces that have made her quite famous. She is also known to provide her artwork in excellent quality. Out of her good heart, Peggy does a lot of philanthropic acts, donating original artwork to organizations that help children. Her career took a more lucrative turn in 1990 when she got a contract with Bentley Publishing Group. She did a lot of creative works for the group, earning her fame nationally. Her Christmas line of prints that she released in 1994 made her become a renowned figure in the published world of art.
