Meg Page is a painter who creates dramatically detailed portraits of botanical gardens. Her talent in the arts was noticed early enough and to day she creates the beautiful flora and fauna that inhabit the botanical gardens. She’s a nationally acclaimed American painter working in oils and watercolor. Her subjects speak to the beauty of heirloom vegetables, botanical gardens, and whatever nature provides that is found in her environment. Meg divides her time between Gentle Farm and her fine art studio in Maryland, which is the inspiration for her detailed work. Meg has exhibited in The National Sporting Library & Museum, The Mitre Box Gallery, Evergreen Museum & Library, The View from the Pond, and Ladew Topiary Gardens.

Lambs and goats frolic, Roosters strut, fresh eggs are gathered everyday and horses graze - all these surrounded by a lush landscape of gardens and fields are some of the things that influence her art. She strives to create energy in her pieces through splash, textures or color. Meg loves working with color and textures because they allow her to create pieces of art with bold colors and intricate in detail. The artist doesn’t want to be constricted by rules, she wants freedom and but she’s able to try everything and anything and learn from her own successes and failures. Meg has loved art for as long as she can remember. To her, art is something that came naturally because since a young age she liked to do things by herself using her hands and on her own.
