Jennette Brice has been following her passion for creating artwork since grade school. Inspired by a gift of oil pastels, and encouraged by her mother, Brice rapidly developed her own unique style that is a true reflection of her colorful personality.
After graduating from the University of South Carolina in 1980, Brice started her own decorative accessory company, selling hand-painted accessories to major retailers worldwide. By 1987, Brice's company employed 250 people and sold thousands of her designs each day. During this time she wrote five books on how to paint and finish furniture, and toured the United States teaching painting seminars in most major cities.
In 1988, Brice began designing hand-painted furniture for Lexington Furniture Industries, the largest furniture manufacturer in the world. Today, her line of furniture is one of their best-selling collections. Brice's experience in the home furnishings industry has helped her to quickly determine color and style trends, creating unique pieces of artwork which fit perfectly into almost any room decor.
Brice has shown her paintings in many group and one-person shows. She is currently working on new lines for Lexington Furniture and continues to create paintings for galleries worldwide.
