Kimberly Allen is an artist based in Denver. He likes the beauty that it offers daily. Allen loved art from a tender age and he feels nostalgic about the old memories and stories he enjoyed. These have become strong influencers of his art. The amazing viaducts, the strong brick and design of buildings that span the region continue to inspire him – an exciting development and preservation that he says is truly a mind blowing adventure. Stadiums, theatre, railroads, warehouses grain elevators and homes, all make him to fall in love with Denver over and over again. So he set out to enhance this precipice of future and past. He says that the city tells the story through a good image, motivated by his love of it and a future gift for the viewers.
He adds that it was an honor to be on the streets of Denver. To chronicle his romance of LoDo area, the Platte Valley and lower downtown, the images came easily to him - Denver was waiting for him! These beautiful, natural scenes unveil a deserted sensation - a calm before the storm. He believes that energy was underway to rebuild and merge new with old. He tried to be the best he could, driven by ego. A journey began for him to compose an awesome photograph; artistic and relevant images. He was out there being the eyes of his viewers ... Denver gave it to him. He’s considered to be one of the best photographers in Denver today.
