Michael de Guzman Wall Art

Michael de Guzman is a Fine Art Photographer born and raised in Philippines. He’s known for his black and white landscapes and is also referred to as MDG by his friends, particularly the photographers. He discovered his passion for shooting in 2011 when he attended a workshop on Landscape Photography. He started shooting near infrared and color but he always has a different feeling for black and white. In 2012, August, he took another workshop specializing in Fine Arts black and white landscape and he was taken into the process. Michael de Guzman is a black and white landscape specialist using tools such as Photoshop and digital cameras with other software for processing. Michael de Guzman also uses piezography for his prints. His images have been in numerous local and international publications both print and online. He has also won awards including IPA Lucie Award and PX3 Prix De La Photographie Paris. He’s now a regular contributor of a local photography magazine for the landscape section. He also conducts and assists in workshops for landscape and fine art photography. His works are unique and easily recognizable because of the unique style he has adopted in producing them. They can easily be picked from the works of other artists. That notwithstanding, Michael de Guzman is still open to learning. That’s why he likes to associate himself with other professional photographer and also visits exhibitions and art shows. He also likes reading and traveling to get inspiration for his work which today is in many collections around the world.
