Olga Shvartsur is a self-taught artist based in Seattle. She has a passion for drawing portraits and has been drawing them in graphite pencil since childhood. Olga is currently exploring new medium – watercolor. Olga has a lot of experience in painting and illustration work. She uses pastels on canson paper, graphite pencils, as well as brushes and brushes viewer app to create very beautiful portraits. The other materials she uses includes Daniel Smith Watercolors, Molotow White Acrylic pens which she says are great for adding highlights, fine details, etc. She also uses Arches Watercolor Paper Blocks (cold-pressed and hot-pressed), Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils, and Copic Brush Pens which she uses for thick black outlines. She likes Copic Brush Pen because it’s waterproof and works great with watercolor paintings. Olga prefers to use them on hot-pressed smooth paper. Olga sells signed art prints and originals on her Etsy shop while her posters, unsigned prints, canvas and framed art are available in FineArtAmerica shop. With several years experience in the art industry, Olga has definitely found her niche. Her passion for art and love of the environment has enabled her to create beautiful images. With a style of her own, her work is able to speak for itself, attracting clients not only from Seattle, but also from all over the world. Her support stems from her loving friends and other fellow artists. Olga is constantly learning new things and renewing her creativity, which directly benefits her viewers because the constant exposure to new ideas is reflected in her work.
