Barb Tourtillotte enjoys painting a variety of subjects from elegant florals to whimsical snowmen. Barb loved art from her childhood and many people who surrounded her noticed her talent and encouraged her to pursue art as a career. She started on her journey to become an artist, and in the process was so much influenced by the many professional artists she interacted with. She studied illustration and graphic design at the Burnley School of Professional art and at Central Washington University. Her artwork can be found on a many licensed products including dinnerware, fabrics, paper goods and giftware. She currently licenses her artwork to more than 50 companies for a myriad of top selling products.
Barb, her three children and her husband Kirk live in beautiful Washington State. Barb’s art has found its way into many prestigious galleries, museums and institutions. Her art is also found in many collections all over the world. They also adorn the walls of many homes. Barb has been to many art exhibitions where her art has been the center of attraction. She has received many positive reviews from critics, and this has made her art to be very popular. Barb uses art as a means through which she communicates to her viewers. She believes that each piece of her artwork has a special message to the viewers. Despite her several years experience in this industry, Barb is still unsatisfied; she’s always on the lookout for new styles and techniques that can help improve her art.
