Bruce Heinemann is an American landscape photographer who has photographed the landscape for more than 3 decades. Heinemann is the photographer of “The Art of Nature: Reflections on the Grand Design,” the critically acclaimed best-selling book. He also photographed and authored a second best-selling book titled “A Guide to Photographing the Art of Nature.” The books were both selected as Book of the Month Club Feature Selections. That’s not all. Heinemann was also the author and photographer of “Washington: A Gallery of the Seasons,” a photographic book on his native state. “The Nature of Wisdom,” his most recent publication, has become an instant best seller nationwide at Barnes and Noble stores. His images have appeared in National Geographic, Alaska Airlines, Audubon, Sierra Magazine, and Outdoor Photographer, among others.

He has published and photographed fine art corporate calendars for more than eighteen years. He was a co-producer and cinematographer of a video entitled, The Art of Nature: Reflections on the Grand Design. The video was narrated by Tom Skerritt (Emmy-winning actor), and was based on his book. The video was broadcast on over 140 Public Television Stations in the US, and it received the 1996 Gold Award at Houston International Film Festival for best music video. Heinemann’s images are also included the corporate collections of such companies as Washington State Ferries, Bremerton Public Works, Northern Trust, Boeing, McChord Air Force Base, and many other private and public institutions. In 1993, Heinemann received the prestigious Virginia Merrill Bloedel Lecture Fellow Award for the quality of his work.
