June Hunter is a reporter on Alleyway Wanderer, Mundane Wonders and Crow Paparazzo. She received his first camera in 1962 and since then he has spent many hours looking at the everyday world through a lens. Since 2006 she has been a full-time artist and she has been selling her artwork online and at local Vancouver galleries and markets since then. June was born in the north of England. She grew up in an ultra-urban environment and the family lived in a flat just under the Tyne Bridge. The fragments of the Roman Wall and rusting leftovers of the industrial revolution were her fabulous playgrounds. The family never had a garden, but her mother was always helping her to examine the eclectic bits of nature that they came across on their walks. After completing high school, he studied at Bangor University in North Wales, where she specialized in Anglo-Saxon poetry in her early twenties then.

She made the big move to northern BC where she hand-built a cabin some distance from the nearest human neighbors. Here she worked as a tree planter for many years. In the early1980s she had found a happy medium, studying art, living in Vancouver, living with her husband, Phillip and raising children (Ian and Lily) and working in graphic design. Her studio is located in her garden behind her house in East Vancouver. Judy counts herself lucky to have a daughter, Lily as an employee. Lily is an accomplished photographer in her own right. Her work has been shown in several group and individual shows.
