Jack Terry’s realistic depictions of the rugged Western lifestyle have made him one of America’s most acclaimed Western artists. Coming from a family where his grandfather was a rancher and his grandmother a painter, both life passions are in his blood. Studying with various noteworthy artists during Austin’s Western art boom in the 70s, Terry developed a way of capturing light that calls to mind the French style, setting his Western art apart. He counts many famous luminaries and corporations among his collectors and he also illustrates his own books and those of others.
