Phyllis Knight holds a Bachelor and a Masters Degree in Art. Her paintings are a mixed media of watercolors, acrylics, pastels and colored pencils along with hand-made textured papers. She has taught art in public school and community college and travels the world attending workshops and seminars. Phyllis is a native of Pennsylvania, a former resident of New Orleans and now resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"Art has always been the primary focus of my daily life. I have been an art student, art teacher and professional artist for over 20 years. Although I am capable of strong realism the principle means of my artistic communication is color and texture. These elements combined with good design are what I enjoy most during the creation of my art.
