"The Morning Call" features a locomotive train that appears to be stopped at a station in rural America. The sky is blue with clouds painted in shades of white, purple and a light yellow. There's green trees surrounding the tracks where the train rests and a small brown station building to the left. An engineer appears to be tending to the train and there's a young boy on his bicycle that's stopped to view the train in awe. The artist Xaras seems to have a fondness for trains as he's got more than one image that features the great machines. His artwork celebrates their strength and the important role that they play in American history. A traditional piece, this artwork would be best framed in a brown or cherry wood. It can be hung in a living room, dining room or home office of any train lover and would also make a great gift for model train collectors.
