“Poppies” by Thomas McGrath awakens memories of gorgeous drives through the Tuscan countryside. A small dirt road winds its way through rolling green fields dotted with red poppies in full bloom. The occasional Cypress tree stands tall in an otherwise treeless landscape. At the end of the road, perched on top a hill, is a farmhouse just barely visible. The sun is setting behind the distant hills, casting an orange glow in the sky. A mist is forming in the valleys between the hills. This print will brighten up a small dark corner of any room. Frame it in gold for a more formal look or finish it off as a museum wrapped canvas with brown painted sides to make the print stand out.
