Sung Kim Mediterranean Terrace

As the title suggests, this print is of a gorgeous Italian terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The architecture is typical of the region and comprises a low surrounding stone wall, stone floor tiles, three Roman columns and a trellis covered with wisteria. At the center is a round table and two white wicker rocking chairs with blue colored cushions. On top of the table is a small potted plant with white flowers in a blue vase. The terrace sits high up on a cliff and has breath taking views of the deep blue waters and steep rocky terrain. A small harbor town is nestled in an alcove below the cliffs and there are several moored yachts off shore. The tops of evergreen trees are visible to the left of the terrace but are not obstructing the view. There is a large urn in the corner with a trailing blue flowering ivy like plant. Pink and red Bougainvillea spill over the wall to the right. A pink flowering clematis is wrapped round the center column and along the sea facing wall. The trellis filters the sun’s rays casting shadows along the floor. This is truly a hide-away retreat and a romantic setting for a couple in love.
