“A Peaceful Horizon” is Nenad Mirkovich ’s interpretation of the calm after the storm. It is of a white lighthouse attached to a series of cottages perched on top of small cliff. Waves are crashing against the rocky coastline creating a white froth. Dark storm clouds are exiting to the left and are being replaced by a brighter sky. The sun is trying to shine through on the right. It is typical of Mirkovich's style to combine tranquility with drama. This contemporary print will add style to a traditional décor. It is best framed in a brown or cherry molding to complement the brown, off white and yellow colors of the print. Alternatively, it can be finished as a museum wrapped canvas with nutmeg painted sides.
