"Moorings Low Tide" is our most popular piece by Nottingham artist David Short. Originally painted with oils on canvas, the image features two small boats on the beach, seeming moored there by the tide that's gone out to sea since their arrival. The sky on this day is the boldest of blues with just a hint of clouds to be seen. The waves in the water are very small, with just a couple small seagulls flying over them.
