"The Cannon Race II" by Cory Silken is a sepia-toned photograph of a yacht race, as seen from the deck of a yacht in the race. The sails and deck from the yacht can be seen on the left of the photo, and it appears that the photographer of this image would be standing on the right hand side of the ship. There are rocky waves in the dark sea water, and across the waves is another yacht with it's own large white sails blowing in the wind. The ships appear to be moving quickly, as there are large wakes of white, frothy water coming from the sides of both boats. Cory Siken has several photographs with similar subject matter and colors available. As individual items, or hung together, they are ideal wall decor for beach houses or home offices. A black frame would be recommended for finishing these items.
