This contemporary print is of a sprig of the herb, Thyme, set on a parched cream background with faint script writing and framed in a vintage styled border. There are delicate pink flowers and tiny green leaves on each of the four stalks. The word “THYME”, all in upper case, appears in the bottom edge of the border. Each letter is separated with a small period. The neutral colors of the print make it easy to include in any style of décor. Constance Lael is an American artist from Charlotte, North Carolina. She began her career as an art teacher and then became a full time professional artist, setting up her own business. She draws inspiration from the beauty in landscaped gardens, flowers and architecture. “Vintage Herbs – Thyme” is one of four prints in a series that includes Sage, Rosemary and Parsley.
