This decorative image of a sage plant is one of the four images in the "Vintage Herbs" series by the North Carolina native, Constance Leal. The print has a light coffee colored border that has the appearance of a slab of slate or rock, and the word "SAGE" in capital letters at the bottom. The background of the piece looks like old parchment with pale cursive writing in a light pen covering its surface. In the center is the sprig of Sage, The leaves are a light green with buds flowering in a complementary purple shade. Other images in the "Vintage Herbs" series are "Rosemary", "Thyme" and "Parsley".
