Linda Spivey is an American fine artist who specializes in country style painting. Her paintings cover a lot of subjects, including household items, bathroom accessories and more. She has been passionate about art since a very young age and she has kept that passion going. Linda's type of art involves a combination of images and words to communicate to viewers. She uses poetic words and verses drawn from the scriptures to strengthen her messages. Her subjects reflect her love for the countryside. Linda is excited about anything old; from books to movies, recipes to furniture, and rusting wood signs to crocks. Her main mediums are watercolors and pen & ink, although she also uses acrylic once in a while.
Linda’s works have been featured in her Grandma's Special Memories book series while others have been printed on an array of products including bags, dishes, Christmas cards, and more. Linda’s creative works have also been advertised by Penny Lane Publishing among several others. Besides painting her artwork for sale on galleries and stores, she also illustrates books that include recipe and cookbooks. Together with her husband Dan, they have two sons and four lovely grandchildren. She takes her spiritual life seriously and appreciates her talent, understanding that she got it from God to offer services to humanity. Linda is inspired by Bible verses. One of her favorite verses is Colossians 3:23, which says “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
