Zeny Cieslikowski (Born in 1943) is a fine art photographer who was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He began his career by photographing Spain and France in 1967. Cieslikowski’s professional time was divided between fine art and commercial pictures until 1984, when fine art photography became his sole profession. He currently works and lives in Northern California. Unlike many artists, he personally prints both his black-and-white and color images to insure the proper representation of the original negative. He’s elf-Taught in Photography but majored in Political Science at the University of California, Riverside. On June 4, 1990, Cieslikowski was honored when Stanford University presented to President and Mrs. Mikhail Gorbachev a portfolio of his original photographs of Stanford as the official gift from the university to the President of the Soviet Union.

His aim is to capture that memorable moment of the convergence of texture, light, form and color in a composition that goes beyond the split second and endures for the viewer to feel and see. He does not specifically start out a day in search for a particular subject to capture in a preconceived way. He believes that it is in order to allow the environment and time to wash over him and to be surprised with the images as they present themselves. However, there are times when he returns many times, in order to take advantage of the changing light. Cieslikowski captured many of the original fine art photographs currently displayed at ColorPhotographs.com. The images are of cities such as New York, San Francisco, Rome, Venice, London, Paris and Florence.
