Dawna Barton Bio Pic For painter Dawna Barton, the purpose of art is to "delight the viewer". This is evident in her fluid, impressionistic brush strokes and her ability to capture the essence of the natural world. "The joy of painting is what motivates me to paint. For me, the experience is more fulfilling than the result." As a result, Dawna Barton has become a prolific painter, experimenting with many mediums and techniques. Over the years, Dawna Barton has received numerous awards for her painting, among them the 1989 Utah Pageant of the Arts "Artist of the Year." Dawna's work can be found in many private collections throughout the country.
