Early in his life, Ian Tornquist had no plans of being a photographer until. His first run in with a camera came when he was an adult. This was when he picked a semi-decent camera just to annoy his daughter a couple of years ago. His daughter would always roll her eyes when her grandfather originally would bring out his camera, and then later on do the same to Tornquist. Tornquist decided to actually learn how to use the various settings on the camera and take some images of scenery starting with the Albany, NY skyline across the river at night. When the shots came out beautiful, Tornquist fell in love with photography. Since then he carries his camera with him everywhere he goes and has acquired some decent equipment.

His daytime job lets him travel all over the back areas of New York, and to many other places that offer fun moments for him: various large waterfalls hidden in the hills and mountains, a sunset coming down a wheat field, a group of people performing with lights and fire or abandoned and broken buildings. So far, Tornquist doesn’t specialize in one area of photography. He joins up with other photographers in the area for new classes on portraits and for various outings. For those looking for a complete ready to hang masterpiece, his artworks are the perfect solutions. With over 60 frames to choose from and tons of options, collectors can select the finishing that matches their look, style and the feel that they want. Each piece of art is framed individually to ensure quality framing and customer satisfaction.
