Sarah Webber grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota. Her talent grew easily because she was born into an artistic family. At an early age, Sarah always showed a high affinity towards art and music. In 1987, she graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in fine arts and minor in art history. After interacting with a number of local artists in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, she took up oil painting as a way to create her art. She worked in several art galleries around the country before 2001 when she decided to venture into full time painting.
Sarah specializes in oil painting of the domestic and wild animals. She has a unique brushwork that makes people travel from all over the world to see her creative works and experience her working process. Most of her paintings are seen to give life and soul to the animals depicted in the drawings. Sarah’s paintings have an impressive touch when it comes to the color. The surface quality and simple designs make her works popular with many art lovers.
Other great painters such as N.C Wyeth and Frank Tenney Johnson are known to have further influenced Sarah to pursue her career as a painter. Her works has appeared in different exhibitions and museums around the world. Most of them are found in the CM Russell Museum, the Clymer Museum, and the Desert Caballeros Museum. Sarah recently won the Signature Status award, which was hosted by the prestigious American Women Artists.
