Natalie Savard (Born in 1964) is a self-taught artist who was born in Chicoutimi, Quebec. Her preferred medium is Oil on Canvas. Before devoting herself to her greatest passion which is painting, she taught for 10 years. That has not stopped her from earning. Natalie also continues to learn as she believes this is the best way to improve her art. She’s also open to criticism and is a faithful visitor to museums and art galleries. She’s careful when it comes to the production of her pieces of art and an impression of harmony and serenity usually emanates from her paintings. She has exhibited at Galerie Clarence Gagnon, Montreal, Art on 5th, Austin, Texas, State of the Art Gallery, Toronto, Latitudes Fine Art, Houston, Old Port of Montreal, Flora Canada, Art Expo New York, New York, Frelighsburg, Eastern Townships, Saidye Bronfman Centre, Montreal, Spring celebration, Dunham, Eastern Townships, among others. Her subjects live in her dreamlike universe, but the figurative language she uses to produce them leaves an important place for her interest in the human figure.
All her paintings offer a space where she devotes herself to the quest for color and light as a means of expression. She has received many awards and her art has appeared in many publications including Société Carte Option Art Map / Montreal Art, Magazine of Fine Art and Framing, Museums, among others. Her works are exhibited throughout the United States and Canada and are usually seen adorning the walls of many prestigious buildings in the world. They are also part of many private and public collections.
