Carrie Fell has worked as a professional for more than 20 years. During this time, she has exhibited her work nationally through several high-status fine art galleries and has achieved both corporate and private collector acknowledgment. In 2011, she decided to open her own gallery to expand upon her repertoire, experience and her brand. In 1996, Carrie established “Significance of Self.” This is an ingenious residency program designed to promote young people in their expression through art and integrate charity performance. The artist is generous and active with both her time and donations serving numerous charitable organizations. She’s an artist who strives to expand the boundaries of long-established Western art by presenting Western subjects in innovative ways. Through her work the artist tells the familiar stories of the West - the stories of cowgirls and cowboys and horses and the immeasurable sky.

Carrie’s dramatic use of line and color set her apart from traditional Western art style. With bold color and deft drawing, she imparts feeling and life to her subjects which are frequently faceless, from cowgirls to longhorns. A native of Denver, Carrie studied interior design in college. Her use of negative space, line and color also reflect her early training. She works in a variety of media: sculpture, paintings and limited-edition prints. Her art hangs in the collections of institutions, corporations and individuals throughout North America and abroad. Carrie exhibits in numerous galleries and museums all year-round. In 2007, her painting was acquired by the Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, for their permanent collection.
