Paul Panossian (Born 1965) was born in Los Angeles California and was raised in Southern California. He displayed an inherent artistic ability and was classically trained in the techniques and methods of the Old Masters. Panossian was inspired by the Renaissance period, and so his art is characterized by use of color, clarity of form, unified schemes of interior design and subtle detailing. As early as age 5, he was already recognized to have artistic talent. His family made a trip to Italy and this became his earliest art influence. He also received many years of worldwide travel and private instruction which inspired him to carry on the imagery and traditions found in art forms that date back to antiquity. Panossian mentored under professional artists from that early age, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Northridge. The artist spends a significant portion of his day working on art.
Just like a musician who regularly practices his instrument, he believes it is important to continually put paint to canvas. His patrons include the Royal family of Saudi Arabia, Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas, Paula Abdul, Nordstrom, Kathy Ireland and Alex Trebek. Having been represented by most of the leading international design firms including James Northcutt Associates, Robertson-Walker and Lloyd, and Wilson & Associates, his art has now found its way into many commercial and private spaces. His art merges adaptations of both Rococo and Etruscan motifs into subtle works of art. Panossian’s art has been painted on ceilings, walls, canvas, and custom made panels.
