Christopher Corr was born in Camden Town, London. He earned a B.A. in graphic design at Manchester Polytechnic and an M.A. at the Royal College of Art in London.
His worldwide travels to the United States, India, China, Russia, Mexico, Japan, Brazil, Australia and Cuba have provided much inspiration for his work. He first traveled to India in 1986 for his one-man show entitled "Welcome to India," which was followed by a book and a British Broadcasting Corporation short film of the same name.
His commissions range from book jackets and posters to menus for Eurostar, the World AIDS Day 1996 Campaign and Quantas Airways. He has also visited Bosnia to research and draw the United Nations Peacekeeping Force for a Royal Mail millennium stamp.
He has had recent exhibitions showing his paintings of Cuba.
