Roeselien Raimond is a Dutch photographer who currently works and lives in one of the most crowded parts of the Netherlands. For her, photography is about communication, creation and expression. To escape the stress of city, she often goes back to the coast, where she was born and where most of her favorite creatures live. Besides taking pictures, she’s also an author. Her writings are mainly about nature. Professionally, Roeselien has always been balancing between psychology and art, having a major enthrallment for the both of them. Evidently, nature played an unquestionable important role, but it was always just there, not demanding much attention. She first worked an Art Therapist, and her work involved joining her creative skills with psychological schooling and talents to help people, more so the young children, dealing with their problems – mainly mental problems.

Later on, her focus shifted towards the more creative aspect. Roeselien became a self-educated designer, and this resulted in her being a professional web designer. For many years, Roeselien created beautiful products which made her customers happy. Without doubt, the computer consumed more and more of her time and nature was thrown to a very remote place in the background. However, she never felt the satisfaction she needed in life and made a decision to choose a path that would make her feel satisfied. She made a decision to choose a career path in which nature would play a more important role. And her best choice was to go for Nature photography and writing.
