Bragi Ingibergsson (Born 1961) was born in Iceland. He’s an amateur photographer who’s known all over Iceland and beyond. Photography has been his favorite hobby for as long as he can remember, he got his first camera when he was only 12 years old and ever since he has been taking photos. Ingibergsson travels a lot to find the best images to capture and this fits well with his love for landscape and nature photography. His cameras of choice are Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon EOS 5D Mark III, and his preferred lenses are EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II U, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L and EF 16-35mm f/2.8/L USM. His photos have been published far and wide in many publications including Rough Guides, Icelandic amateur photographer's year book, Digital Camera, issue 83, O mundo da Fotografia Digital, The Royal Photographic Society Journal, PhotoPlus, issue 48, Nordisk kirkemusik symposium, Special Themes Circuit, and Trierenberg Super Circuit, among others.

His images have won prizes in many photo contests, including the overall prize in the 2009 Digital Camera's photo competition. This is one of the biggest photo contests in the world, and it also gave him the nomination Photographer of the year. Ingibergsson says that a photo is like a poem – in fact, a visual poem. This is because it makes the viewer to understand, experience, and sense it in his own personal way. He adds that just like a poem, a good photo brings out stories, feelings and even strong spiritual experience.
