Sean Punk is the brand name of artist Simon Buch, a young artist who comes from Esbjerg, Denmark. He has been educated for 3 years at BGK and has previously worked under the synonym Sean Punk for some years until he decided that it was time to break up from his mole hole and go out on his own and under his own identity. The artist has experienced great success over the last couple of years, and he has managed to participate in many censored exhibitions, but experiments with his paintings and plays more freely in his spare time. Punk has always painted and drawn and his art is quite easy to recognize. He paints anarchist, and works very much in compositions and colors. He experiments a little in his style as he paints modern art and street pop art.
In his images, one can clearly see that his models are Erik A Frandsen, Warhole, Basquiet and Tal R. The images consist of mixed media on canvas of chalk, spray, stencil and acrylic. He believes that art gives him an opportunity to bond with his clients and her instinct. He likes it when his clients look at his art and appreciates them. If that happens, he considers that he has succeeded in his mission – to speak to the hearts of people. He’s flexible in his choice of mediums. Today, his work is proudly displayed in many private and public collections throughout Denmark and beyond. He uses his experience to produce art that’s appealing to his viewers.
