Shacream loves designing and creating - It’s her passion. She would like to share her art world with the viewers. She has been doing art all her life and has always been creative ever since she was very young. She actually knew when she was a little girl that she would be an artist when she got older. Shacream grew up in Milwaukee, WI, and she’s a self-taught artist. She has created art in various forms throughout her life. Shacream paints all subjects, but she’s more drawn toward the line art (zentangles and doodles) and abstract. She creates works in acrylics, watercolor, pencil and pastel. Not only is she a painter, she’s also a musician and graphic designer. Entering the art world as a self-taught artist, her credentials are observation, patience, effort, and quite simply perseverance. She says that Trial and Error have been wonderful teachers to her.
Creating her art is like being on a roller coaster; highs and lows, ups and downs, twists and turns. To her art is much like life; it is a constant change, constant movement. The creation process is such a joy, because it allows her emotions to spill out onto her canvas as a release. Shacream’s approach to art is non-traditional. She doesn’t attempt to follow the traditional course of art, but rather chooses to create with as few limitations as possible. She loves standing outside the box, being different. Her primary goal is to paint for inspiration and self-expression. When she’s not doing art she’s doing volunteer work.
