Balazs Solti is a freelance illustrator from Budapest, Hungary. He started illustrating a few years ago but his works looks like he has been in the business for so many years. He strives to create images which elicit emotions and makes people smile. That’s what has made his art to be very popular. Solti has partnered with My Wonderful Walls to bring witty, quirky art wall decals on the latter’s online collection. My Wonderful Walls is owned by Michael Goins. It is a small wall décor business in Chattanooga, TN. Michael wanted to add art from artists around the world that would diversify the wall sticker offerings at My Wonderful Walls. Michael and his wife and co-owner, Stephanie, found several artists whose work they admired and who allowed their business to add to their wall decal offerings their art for both adults and kids’ rooms. Solti was one such artist.
With his passion for portraying portraits, animals, and skulls in his art, he has been a great addition to the My Wonderful Walls featured artist’s collection. Solti drew a lot as a child but he never studied drawing professionally. When he was teenager other things became more important and the drawing went forgotten for a while. It was not until around 2009 that his art turned professional. Solti creates his pieces of artwork digitally for prints, because he can easily modify them, the drawing and the background are on separate layers, there is an undo button and he can change colors anytime. In his free time he makes pencil and ink drawings and acrylic paintings.
