Chris (Inkworm) was found wandering in the hills of Somerset sometime in the mid 70's. He had only a jug of cider and a pencil and, somehow, he managed to gain a crude form of education despite the fact that he spent many hours staring into the sky at Sea Furies and Sea Harriers. At this time education was geared towards learning how to make marks on bark and skin, and learning which types of rock were edible. The learning process involved simple monochromatic pictures in the early years, but later works used more advanced forms of finger painting that involved substantial materials such as small stones or rocks. He later on moved to the computer in an effort to reduce his consumption of crayons.

However, Photoshop couldn't run on a 48k Spectrum, so he soon moved on to more powerful hardware. Chris’ work now goes by the name “Inkworm.” He is now found in the Midlands doing his artwork, coloring in airplanes and of course pursuing a range of projects with fellow designers. He claims to be an expert Photoshop, in Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, and MS Paint. Research has uncovered several websites for which he has been responsible for. He has also been allowed access to conventional material such as Gouache, Acrylic, Water Color and Pencil. Despite all the odds, Chris managed to get a degree in History of Art & Design. Those who are kind enough have encouraged and supported him in his quest to get his work published and continue enjoying himself.
