Patricia Adams (Born 1928) lives and is active in Vermont, California. She’s known for abstract imagery and is interested in prehistoric and sacred art. She’s an abstract painter who has traveled widely in pursuit of such studies to Egypt, Burma, Malta, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Thailand and Indonesia. Since 1964, Patricia has taught painting at Bennington College in Vermont, and in New Haven, Connecticut at Yale University. Her primary home has been Bennington, Vermont. Those who visit or explore her studios/galleries will quickly discover that she simply likes to create and that she recognizes opportunities to create in all areas of her interests. Patricia has served as critic and visiting artist and has taught seminars at the graduate level at several places including at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Queens College, New York City, Kent State University, Ohio, Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, and Columbia University, New York City.

Her seemingly boundless energy and her passion for creativity keep her constantly moving forward in new directions. She has had several exhibitions which have been very successful. This has helped to promote her work and enabled her to attract a good number of prominent clients. Her art has been the focus of discussion among many professional artists and students. Over the years, the artist has traveled the globe and her original works are represented in art galleries and private collections all over California and beyond. She has produced several pieces of art all of which have attracted many buyers.
