Kaeli Smith’s artwork makes people happy. For her whole life, she has been bringing delight to people through her artwork. Like most children she started painting and drawing and making things at an early age; but unlike some children some of the things she made back still provides direction and inspiration for her current work. Kaeli was born and raised in Annapolis, MD. She began her career as a local artist and was inspired by her beloved hometown. Kaeli’s dream of becoming a painter evolved into much more. While a student at the University of Delaware, she majored in art. The artist employs her extraordinary color sense to create her dynamic and vibrant compositions. Being a native of Annapolis, many of the works she did earlier feature scenes from the Chesapeake Bay. They also feature bold floral arrangements in vases which are as colorful as the flowers they hold.
She’s driven by her interest in design and fashion, and she combines her artistic talents, her unique sense of style and her love of color to produce pieces of art that are bright and attractive. The artist exhibits her original art at the Annapolis Collection Art Gallery. She works mainly in watercolors and has had many shows featuring her work. Kaeli has also donated art (originals) that were auctioned for huge amounts to raise cash for breast cancer and leukemia research. Each of her prints is an original creation, and each new collection features an elegant display of unique prints. She’s the founder of Kaeli Smith, a women's apparel collection.
